Franciscan Health Carmel Hospital
The development of the Franciscan St Francis Health Carmel Hospital responds to the need of bringing the St. Francis mission to the north side of the Indianapolis area in the form of a patient focused, consolidated care model. The design aligns with the client’s vision of the future of healthcare: efficient, right-sized space delivering a cost effective environment that offers patients flexibility in the variety of services provided.
The facility offers a six-bed inpatient unit supported with a three OR surgical suite providing both inpatient and outpatient procedures. There is a comprehensive imaging center, and full laboratory and pharmacy services. Cardiac testing, physical therapy, oncology infusion and several primary care and specialty physician offices compliment the range of services provided.
As part of the 13-hospital Franciscan Alliance health-care system, the Carmel Hospital location provides a convenient continuum of care that is close to home for north side residents, providing a wide range of services supported by the healing Franciscan ministry.
