Adoption of the 2010 ADA Standards for Accessible Design In the February, 2011 Issue of Healthcare Design Magazine, author Barbara Horwitz-Bennett takes a look at the Department of Justice's 2010 ADA Standards update that is being touted by experts as "a great boon for accessibility" in her article, "Introducing the New and Improved ADA 2010." Revised ADA Regulations implementing Title II and Title III were officially published in the Federal Register on September 15, 2010. While these final rules do not take effect until March 15, 2011, compliance was permitted as of September 15, 2010 and will be required as of March 15, 2012. Click here to read the full article.
