Located on the St. Clare Medical Center campus in Crawfordsville, Indiana, the Marie Canine Cancer Center provides patients with a close-to-home healing environment for both medical oncology and radiation therapy. From project inception the design team's goal was to create a place of nurturing which supported the patient, family and staff in the healing process. The building's healing garden, use of abundant natural light, carefully placed artwork and finish material selection are incorporated to foster the standard of care in the understanding, prevention and treatment of cancer.
