October 2009 1,287 Addition 7,030 Renovation     Artekna assisted Riverview Hospital in Noblesville, IN in creating the space for the latest in cardiac catheterization technology.  Direct Capture Image Technology allows the clearest, most precise view of the heart and of the tiny arteries and vessels that can become blocked. This new cath lab is part of the First Phase of implemetning Riverview’s Long Range Plan for Cardiology Services.  The location of the existing Cardiology Department within an existing building that was constructed in 1967 presented many complex planning, design and construction challenges.  The existing Cardiology Department was literally turned inside-out by turning the original central access corridor into a clean core.  New access corridors from the outside perimeter were created on top of existing roof structure. Phase Two will involve the reorganization of the Cardiology Short Stay Area.
