Located
in a residential area of Anderson, Indiana, this freestanding 11,500
square foot facility is sensitive to its neighbors in terms of massing,
scale and use of traditional materials. The Madison County Cancer Care
Center provides both radiation oncology and medical oncology services.
Radiation oncology spaces
include a linear accelerator vault, a CT simulator/HDR vault, control
space, four exam rooms, an HDR prep room, a hot/block room, file review
room, lobby and various staff support spaces.
Medical oncology spaces include
five chemotherapy rooms, two exam rooms, nutrition room, and various
staff support spaces.
